Environmental activist and former vice presidential candidate Winona LaDuke will be at UIS as part of the campus' observance of Earth Week on Tuesday, April 17. At 7:30 p.m., LaDuke will speak on "Politics, Women, and Environmental Justice" in the Studio Theatre. Before that, she will be the guest of honor at a student reception beginning at 5 p.m. in the PAC Atrium Lounge.
