Dr. William Poole, president and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, will speak on "Finance: Engine of Growth, Engine of Instability" at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 6, in Brookens Auditorium. At the conclusion of his formal remarks, Dr. Poole will also take questions from the audience.
The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis is one of 12 regional Reserve banks, serving the Eighth Federal Reserve District. Regional Reserve banks, along with the Board of Governors in Washington, D.C., constitute the Federal Reserve System.
