“Alexandra Pregel: A Search for Self” is the first exhibit of 2006 at UIS' Visual Arts Gallery. The display of paintings by this Russian artist will run from January 17 through February 26. A talk with Rosina Neginsky, UIS faculty member, and Julia Gauchman, a relative of the artist, will begin at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, January 26, in the gallery.
