"UIS Cares" will focus on Jefferson Middle School

UIS' Office of Student Volunteer Services and Civic Engagement will sponsor the sixth annual "UIS Cares" event on Wednesday, April 30, as part of the campus' participation in National Volunteer Week. From 8:30 to 11:30 a.m., members of the campus community will complete a beautification project at Jefferson Middle School.

Christopher Miller, vice chancellor for student and administrative services, said that Jefferson Middle School was selected as the project site this year because a strong mentoring partnership already exists between the two campuses. Read more>>
