UIS Child Care Center to add infant care
Cox Children’s Center at UIS is adding infant care to its available services. The campus’ new infant center, which will provide care to infants beginning at 6 weeks of age, is expected to be fully operational by August 22, in time for the start of the fall semester. Read more>>

UIS graduate student receives FMC Fellowship Award
Darin Bohlmann, a graduate student in the MBA program, has received a Graduate Fellowship from Chicago-based FMC Technologies, Inc. Bohlmann, a first-year student in the MBA program offered by UIS in Peoria, will receive $9,000 for the 2005-2006 academic year.

WUIS special programming will focus on "Think Global"
WUIS Public Radio 91.9 FM, in conjunction with the 2005 Public Radio Collaboration, will air a week of special programs May 16 through 22 that explore global interactions. This week of national dialogue will focus on the theme “Think Global.”
Rich Bradley, WUIS interim general manager, explained that the goal is to make the concept of globalization real and relevant, to start a “national conversation” about how almost everything we do is part of a complex web of interactions. Read more >>
